General terms and conditions

Only the Dutch version is legally valid.

These general conditions apply between the user (= you) and My-Dreams (= us), if you use a service (incl. website) provided by My-Dreams.

In human language

Improper use of My-Dreams' services is prohibited. My-Dreams respects your legal rights (including right of withdrawal) and privacy.

Use of the services

It is prohibited to use My-Dreams' services without a valid licence and/or full payment of the costs associated with this licence. However, no licence is required for the publicly accessible website https://my-dreams.be (excluding subdomains).

The services of My-Dreams may only be used for their intended purpose, any form of improper use or abuse (incl. actions intended to disrupt the services of My-Dreams) is prohibited.

Unauthorised access (including hacking, pishing, brute-force attacks, etc.) to My-Dreams services is strictly prohibited.

Uploading - in any form - illegal and/or inappropriate content, according to prevailing legislation and/or social consensus, to a My-Dreams service is prohibited. Performing illegal and/or inappropriate actions using My-Dreams' services is prohibited.

Intellectual property

All content available within My-Dreams' services is protected by international copyright laws. Nothing may be reproduced without the express permission of the author.

Uploading - in any form - content to a My-Dreams service is prohibited if you do not own the necessary copyrights.

My-Dreams is not responsible for content uploaded by users.

My-Dreams retains ownership of the services offered at all times.

Liability and indemnity

For the prices mentioned within My-Dreams' services, we strive to reflect reality and the intended prices as carefully as possible. Errors which thereby arise and are recognisable as programming or typing errors never constitute a reason to claim or assume a contract or agreement with My-Dreams.

My-Dreams strives for the most current information within our services. If, despite these efforts, the information is incomplete or incorrect, we cannot accept liability. We reserve the right to change this information without any prior notice.

The information and/or services offered by My-Dreams are offered 'as is/as available', without any form of guarantee and or claim to accuracy or availability. We are not liable for any (direct and/or indirect) damage you suffer by using our services, nor by any interruption thereof. However, My-Dreams always tries to give you the best possible service.

Ethical hacking - Responsible Disclosure

At My-Dreams, we consider the security of our systems very important. Despite our care for the security of our systems, it may still happen that there is a weakness.

If you have found a vulnerability in one of our systems, we would like to hear about it so we can take action as soon as possible. We would like to work with you to better protect our customers and our systems.

We ask you:

  • Immediately upon detection of a security problem, and certainly no later than 7 days after detection, contact us via email to security@my-dreams.be, even if the exact extent of the security problem is not yet known.
  • Email your findings to security@my-dreams.be. Encrypt your findings with our PGP key to prevent the information from falling into the wrong hands,
  • Not abuse the problem by, for example, downloading more data than necessary to demonstrate the leak or accessing, deleting or modifying third-party data,
  • Not sharing the problem with others until it is resolved,
  • Not sharing all confidential data obtained through the leak with others and deleting it immediately after the leak has been fixed,
  • Not to use physical security attacks, social engineering, distributed denial of service, spam or third-party applications,
  • Not take any actions that may compromise the availability of our services, and
  • Provide sufficient information to reproduce the problem so that we can resolve it as soon as possible. Usually the IP address or URL of the affected system and a description of the vulnerability is sufficient, but more may be required for more complex vulnerabilities.

What we promise:

  • We will respond to your report within a short period, if possible within 7 days, with our assessment of the report and an expected date for a resolution,
  • If you have complied with the terms in this user agreement, and in particular those in the Responsible Disclosure section, we will not take any legal action against you regarding the report,
  • We will treat your report confidentially and will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent unless necessary to comply with a legal obligation. Reporting under a pseudonym is possible,
  • We will keep you informed of the progress in resolving the problem,
  • In notifying you of the reported problem, we will, if you wish, include your name as the discoverer, and
  • As a thank you for any report of a security problem still unknown to us, we offer the opportunity to be mentioned on our hall of fame.

When in doubt, please contact us at security@my-dreams.be and, if applicable, request explicit permission to subject our system to certain security tests.

We aim to resolve all issues as quickly as possible and we would be happy to be involved in any publication about the problem after it is resolved.

End of the right of use

If you do not comply with the set conditions, My-Dreams reserves the right to deny you access to our services at all times, with immediate effect and without any prior warning, without My-Dreams owing you any compensation and/or refund.

Discounts and discount codes

Discounts are not cumulative unless explicitly stated otherwise.

The (total) discount for a product or service can never exceed 100%. Discounts can therefore never give rise to an amount owed by My-Dreams to the customer.

Affiliate marketing

It is prohibited to use your own affiliate link to obtain a discount or compensation for a service or product intended for your own use or use within your company.

It is prohibited to take any action aimed at disadvantaging another affiliate or preventing an affiliate from obtaining its rightful remuneration.

General provisions

My-Dreams reserves the right to claim damages and/or take criminal action if you (maliciously) breach these general terms and conditions.

This user agreement does not affect any applicable legal obligations.

If the validity of one or more provisions of this user agreement is compromised, this does not affect the validity of other provisions in this user agreement. The user agreement must then always be interpreted as closely as possible to the intentions of this user agreement.

All services to which these conditions apply are exclusively governed by Belgian law. Only the courts of Brussels are competent, unless otherwise mutually agreed.

All titles in this provision are purely informative.

Right of withdrawal

If you order as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt or activation of the service without giving any reason. To exercise this right, you can contact us at herroepingsrecht@my-dreams.be or you can cancel the ordered service at all times on our online platform. If you wish, you can use the model withdrawal form. If you have already paid for the service, we will then refund the order amount due within 14 days of receiving your cancellation.

When a module is activated, the right of withdrawal starts to run from the first activation of this module.

In addition to the official right of withdrawal for consumers, you can often make use of a free trial period as a consumer and as a company. See the specific information for this when purchasing a particular module.

Changes

We reserve the right to amend these general terms and conditions at any time.

Should these general terms and conditions change, you will always find the most recent version on this page.
